I am Pilar Martinez-Karner, Founder and Visionary Leader.

Almost three decades ago, I began my career in Public Relations in Houston, Texas, developing my experience with recognized organizations and media focused on the Hispanic market.

In 2009, I created the Más Branding agency with the vision of supporting and projecting companies, leaders and corporations that want to impact the Hispanic community.

In 2021, I launched the Business Latina Expo, an annual exhibition of products and services focused on creating alliances between established businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as future entrepreneurs.

The Business Latina Expo is very special to me since it was born at a time when we were all scared, depressed and exhausted by the pandemic. Many of us lost our businesses or our jobs. My idea started with the purpose of reconnecting, creating new alliances, looking for a job or starting new businesses; For many, it was a new beginning, just as it was for me at that time.

This is the third edition. I am very grateful and blessed for the growth of Business Latina Expo, for the organizing committee, for the sponsors, collaborators, and allies who have supported this project since its beginning. Thank you for your loyalty and trust. I am convinced that, united, we can build a more prosperous future full of opportunities for all Latino entrepreneurs in Houston.
